UNRESERVED TENT CAMPING
Unreserved tent camping and parking in our lot (not next to your tent) is included with your 3-Day or 2-Day (Fri + Sat) admission ticket on a first come, first served basis.

*Pull-behinds/trailers/teardrops and RVs are PROHIBITED from unreserved areas. If you have one of these units then you NEED to purchase a reserved campsite to gain access to the campground.
*A Car Camping pass is required if you would like to park your car next to your tent or use your car as your sleeping unit in the unreserved camping area. If you do not have a car camping pass then you can drive to your campsite to drop off your camping gear at your site but this will ONLY be allowed on Thursday before dark. After you unpack you will be asked to park your car in one of our overflow parking areas (not next to your tent).
*You can drive to your campsite and drop off your camping gear before you park your car. This will be allowed on Thursday before dark ONLY. If you are arriving on Friday, you will not be able to drive your car to your campsite to drop off your camping gear. You must park your car in the free overflow parking area located in The Fields and walk your camping gear to your campsite. Packing a wagon will make this process easier. All tent campers will be able to drive back to your campsite on Sunday to pack up.
CAR CAMPING
If you would like to park your car at your general admission unreserved campsite (next to your tent) or use your car as your sleeping unit in an unreserved area, simply purchase a Car Camping pass and you will receive a tag for your vehicle to be parked at your site.
Price: $55/vehicle
If your vehicle is over 20′ long you will need an RV site rather than a car camping pass (only the smallest Sprinter vans are under 20 feet, so please check your vehicle length).
Pass does NOT give you in and out privileges; vehicle must be parked at your campsite the entire weekend. If you leave the grounds you will be directed to general parking (located in the Fields) upon arrival back to the festival.

*1-Day Saturday pass holders will NOT be able to drive your car to your unreserved campsite to drop off your camping gear when you arrive on Saturday; even with a car camping pass (please do not purchase a car camping pass with your Saturday ticket). You must park your car in the free overflow parking area located in the Fields and walk your camping gear to your campsite. Packing a wagon will make this process easier. Arriving on Saturday means you will most likely have to camp in Prairie Unreserved. All tent campers will be able to drive back to your campsite on Sunday to pack up.

EARLY ARRIVAL
WEDNESDAY NIGHT CAMPING
Good for (1) one person to arrive the Wednesday night before the festival for tent or car camping in any unreserved area. Unreserved areas include GA, Family, Prairie and Quiet.

Move-in Hours: Wednesday June 24th between 3:00pm – 9:00pm
If you arrive early, you will be directed to leave and park in our off-site lot located at 3443 Crescent Ave or you can wait in a line on Eagle Lane. Getting here early does not mean you will get into the grounds in order of getting into line. Eagle Lane is a waiting area, not a line to get in first. Lines formed within the Fields Gate will be first come first served in terms of entry. Lines off Eagle Lane mean nothing in terms of entry.
Fields Gate: Anyone with a Wednesday Camping pass MUST use the Fields Gate to be scanned in. If you arrive at the Pines gate you will be turned away and directed to the Fields Gate.
- Each attendee arriving on Wednesday MUST have a 3-day admission pass.
- Kids 13 and under are free and do not need their own pass for Wednesday arrival.
- Pass ONLY available for purchase in advance.
- NO roping off or saving additional camping space for friends that have not yet arrived. We have a lot of people that will need space in our unreserved areas and we want to make sure everyone has an enjoyable festival experience.

FIELDS NON-ELECTRIC RESERVED
Fields Reserved Camping offers 20′ x 30′ non-electric sites for RVs, campers, tents, or cars near The Pines Music Park. Each site includes free Wednesday night camping for up to six people with a 3-day pass. Generator use is allowed (off from 2–6 am). No water hookups.

The Fields, located next to The Pines Music Park offers:

- Reserved camping for RVs, pull-behinds, motor-homes, pop-up campers, tents and cars.

Reserved camping for RVs, pull-behinds, motor-homes, pop-up campers, tents and cars—just a 3–5 minute walk from the festival. Includes free Wednesday camping for up to six people with a 3-day pass. Non-electric with no water hookups; generators allowed (off 2–6 am).

Our Prairie Campground, located next to The Pines Music Park offers:
- Open prairie campsites (standard size is 20’ wide x 30’ long)

Waitlist Details
Electric Waitlist: Please email your name, phone number and length of your RV to [email protected] to be added to this running list. As of July 2024 we have over 200 people on our waitlist. If you plan to attend Blue Ox 2026 with an RV then we suggest that you purchase a non-electric campsite when these go on sale during our Early Bird Sale in the Fall (date TBA). We would be more than happy to upgrade you to an electric campsite if one becomes available to you via waitlist at a later date.
For those who currently have an Electric Campsite: The renewal process will start in early September. Names on the ‘Request to Move’ form will carry over year to year, in the order they were originally received, if their request has not been fulfilled. (Carry-over names start with those who filled out the ‘Request to Move’ form in August 2022.)
Section: The sites that become available to our waitlist will always be Prairie Electric since those who currently have electric sites can request to move first based on availability before we offer sites to our waitlist.
Electric Waitlist Process: Your name will move up on the list and will stay on the list until we are able to offer you an electric site. Campground Check-In, Rules and Information
Please review the following materials prior to your arrival at the festival.
- NO PETS ALLOWED in concert area, festival grounds, parking lots, or campgrounds.
Campground Check-in Times:
- Thursday: 7AM – Midnight
- Friday: 9AM – Midnight
- Saturday: 10AM – 11PM
*You must have festival admission that matches the day of your arrival to enter the campground (kids 13 and under are free).
*The Pines Campground will be CLOSED to all vehicle traffic at 8:00 PM nightly (including car pass holders). If you arrive after 8:00 PM then you will have to park in the Fields Parking Lot and cart/walk your belongings to your campsite.
Wednesday Night Camping:
- All reserved campsites include free Wednesday night camping for up to 6 people per site (arriving together with campsite ticket holder). Each person must also have a 3-day admission pass (kids 13 and under are free).
- Check-in available between Noon – 9:00PM for those with a reserved campsite ticket. *Times subject to change
- All unreserved tent campers and car camping attendees can purchase a Wednesday Night Camping pass if they want to move-in on Wednesday. (Not on sale until closer to the festival)

Car Camping
A Car Camping pass allows you to either park your car at your unreserved campsite or use your car as your sleeping unit in unreserved camping. Upon arrival you will receive a 2026 Car Sticker. ALL cars parked in unreserved camping MUST have a 2026 car sticker on their car window. Car camping pass is only acceptable for vehicles 20′ and under. Vehicles over 20′ in length require a Reserved Camping pass.
What if I don’t have a car camping pass?
If you plan to camp in unreserved tent camping and DO NOT have a car camping pass then you can drop off your belongings until 8:00 PM Thursday and then must move your car to Perimeter Parking or the Fields Parking lot after unloading. Individuals parked in permit parking areas are encouraged to leave their vehicles for the duration of their stay as getting back to these spots may be difficult later into the weekend. After 8:00 PM Thursday, those who do NOT possess a car camping pass will go to the Fields Parking area and will need to cart or walk their belongings to their campsite.
What if I plan to arrive on Friday?
If you are arriving on Friday and plan to camp in unreserved tent camping then you MUST have a car camping pass to drive back to your campsite, no matter what time you arrive that day. If you DO NOT have a car pass then you will have to park in our Fields lot and cart/walk your belongings to your campsite. Late arrivals may be directed to prairie unreserved camping based on availability.
What if I plan to arrive on Saturday?
1-day Saturday pass holders will NOT be able to drive your car to your unreserved campsite to drop off camping gear when you arrive on Saturday, even with a car camping pass. Please do not purchase a car camping pass with your Saturday ticket. You must park your car in the free overflow parking area located in the Fields and cart/walk your camping gear to your campsite.

Access: You MUST have festival admission that matches the day of your arrival to enter the campground (kids 13 and under are free).
Camping Space: Please only take the space that you need. NO roping off or saving additional space for friends that have not yet arrived.
Those with a Car Camping pass: This pass allows you to park your vehicle at your unreserved campsite or use your vehicle as your sleeping unit.
- Those with car camping passes are strongly encouraged to leave their cars parked all weekend to reduce the amount of traffic within the Pines Campground.
- Car camping does NOT give you in and out privileges but if you must leave, then you may do so. If you return BEFORE 8pm then you may drive back to where you were parked but if your space has been taken then you will have to park in the Fields Parking lot. The Pines Campground will be CLOSED to all vehicle traffic at 8:00 PM nightly (including car pass holders). If you return after 8:00 PM then you will have to park in the Fields Parking Lot
Those without a Car Camping pass: If you do not have a car camping pass then you can drop off your belongings at your campsite in unreserved camping until 8:00 PM on Thursday but then must move your car to our Fields Parking lot after unloading.
- If you arrive after 8:00 PM on Thursday then you will be directed to the Fields Parking lot and will have to cart/walk your belongings to your campsite.
- All tent campers will be able to drive back to their site on Sunday to pack up.
Fields Parking Lot:
- Free daily/overnight parking is located in the Fields lot.
- If your car is parked in the Fields parking lot then you will be allowed to come and go from this area as needed.
NO PETS ALLOWED in concert area, festival grounds, parking lots, or campgrounds.
Reserved RV/Tent Camping
If you plan to bring an RV, motorhome, pull-behind, trailer, pop-up camper/tear drop camper you will need to purchase a RESERVED campsite.
Access: You MUST have festival admission (not included with campsite) that matches the day of your arrival to enter the campground (kids 13 and under are free). Those arriving with an RV, motorhome, pull-behind, trailer, pop-up camper/tear drop MUST have a reserved campsite ticket for us to scan at the gate to gain access. The above units are NOT allowed in any unreserved area.
Camping Space:
- Only (1) RV/Camper/Pull-behind/tear-drop allowed per site.
- Tents and multiple cars are allowed as long as you stay within the bounds of your reserved campsite. Cars parked within your reserved campsite DO NOT need a car camping pas.
- If your vehicle does not fit within your reserved campsite space then you can park it for free in the Fields parking lot.
Be Prepared for uneven ground: Some helpful tools for leveling your RV or camper unit include jacks, a shovel and leveling blocks of 2 x 6 or larger lumber.
Generator Use: Is permitted in all reserved campsite areas (excluding Prairie Tent/Tear-drop reserved) but must be turned off from 2AM – 6AM. A 12 AM curfew is in place in our Family Camping areas.

Campfires & Firewood
Small campfires are generally allowed in all campgrounds as long as the fire is contained within a stone or metal fire ring. This may be subject to change according to local burning bans in place during the festival.
Fire rings are available in limited quantities throughout the campground (first-come, first serve). We do NOT sell fire rings or take reservations. We suggest that you bring your own fire ring if you would like to guarantee a campfire at your site.
Cooking fires are allowed in all campgrounds as long as the fire is contained within a metal or freestanding grill. This may be subject to change according to local burning bans during the festival.
Tiki Torches, fireworks and other open flames will not be allowed in campgrounds.
ALL FIRES MUST BE ATTENDED TO AT ALL TIMES. Please put out your fire before leaving your campsite.
ABSOLUTELY NO BONFIRES OF ANY TYPE.
Firewood: Will be available for purchase on-site.
- If you want to bring your own firewood its VERY important that you only bring wood purchased from a Wisconsin Certified DATCP vendor, such as a gas station or grocery store within 25 miles of our venue to reduce the spread of insect pests and diseases being brought into our campground.
- Please DO NOT bring in your own wood scraps/wood from home.
The following guidelines apply to open burning during special events per DNR Administrative Codes and Wisconsin Statutes:
- The local fire department requires that each campfire have a visible container of water near the campfire —1 gallon minimum requirement.
- No outdoor fires if weather conditions make fires potentially hazardous.
- SS 941.10 Individuals who handle burning material in a highly negligent manner will be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. Highly negligent defined as a situation where a person puts another person’s property in danger.
- SS 26.21 Any person who starts a fire may be liable for double the amount of damages done by a fire started by an individual due to negligence. Persons starting the fire will also be held responsible for the costs to the county or town of suppressing such a fire.
- Ashes must be disposed of by thoroughly wetting them or by placing them in a covered metal container.
- ABSOLUTELY NO FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND – including sparklers and firecrackers.
- Violators will be issued citations on-site by the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Department.
- Fire Patrol will be conducted by event security.
- Fire or medical emergency will be handled by Township Fire Department and Gold Cross and Township Ambulance service.
Garbage Disposal
Please leave your campsite in the same condition as you found it.
Clean-up of campsites is required. Garbage bags will be handed out at campground check-in. All trash should be placed in dumpsters or along camp roads before exiting the campground. Recycling should be placed in appropriate containers. Additional garbage bags can be picked up at main entrance or camping store.
You will be responsible for recycling and garbage disposal. There will be bins throughout the campground.
Curfew/Generator Use
Amplified music after midnight is not allowed, acoustic jams are allowed and encouraged!
A 2:00 am curfew on loud music, parties and anything that disturbs neighbors will be enforced in all Blue Ox Music Festival’s campgrounds. We do not expect total quiet; however, please respect your fellow campers. A 12:00 am curfew is in place in our family and quiet camping areas.
Generators must be shut off in all camping areas from 2:00 am to 6:00 am (Special restrictions apply to certain areas of the campgrounds).
Security officers have the authority to ask any person or groups of people who are abusing the noise curfew to leave the grounds and not return to the festival. No refund of admission or camping will be given.
All state and local laws will be enforced by law enforcement personnel in the campgrounds and festival grounds.
Security
24-hour security will be provided in all camping areas, but you are responsible to protect your belongings by securing your campsite.
Security is provided by Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Department and Blue Ox Music Festival Security.
Cruising in vehicles in the campgrounds will not be tolerated. The Sheriff’s Department will enforce this for safety reasons.
No weapons, fireworks or illegal substances will be allowed in the campgrounds or festival bowl area.
Citations will be issued for any violations of local ordinances.
The Drinking Age is 21+ and will be enforced.
Emergencies & Weather Alerts
In the event of severe weather, a warning will be issued by patrol cars and Event Staff. Please follow instructions given. Your cooperation will ensure the safety of you and others. If you need to be notified for an emergency, your family must contact the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Department.
Stay in the know with Blue Ox Weather Alerts! Blue Ox will text all current festival year customers with contact information on file via Afton Tickets if there are any schedule updates due to weather delays during the festival.

Festival Bowl Rules
The Pines Music Park is an outdoor music venue. Events here are rain or shine.
*Smoking is highly discouraged within the festival bowl. Please be mindful of other guests and kindly step outside of the gated area to smoke.

- (Yes) Blankets (Not allowed in standing area in front of sound tent)

- (Yes) Small Shade tents under 4 ft tall – must be set up along rear perimeter of bowl (subject to change)
*All items carried into the festival gates are subject to search by Blue Ox security. All items, including chairs and shade structures should be removed at the end of the night to give everyone a fair chance at placing chairs the following morning in sought after areas. Blue Ox is NOT liable for any items left behind.

Rights for Eviction
We reserve the right to eject any patron because of, but not limited to the following:
- Counterfeit or incorrect credentials
- Tampering of campsite
- Drinking and driving
- Excessive drinking
- Bad behavior and excessive noise
- Unauthorized sale of food, beverage or merchandise on site
- Conduct that is deemed illegal, disorderly or offensive by management
All Sales Are Final
There will be no refunds or exchanges permitted.
Blue Ox Music Festival will not be responsible for lost or stolen items nor damage to person or property while attending the festival.
All admission passes are valid for ONE person only, trading credentials is grounds for ejection.
Please protect your wristband; you will not receive a replacement band if lost, stolen, or tampered with.
You will receive one armband for the entire festival. Do not remove it unless you are not returning to the festival or the campgrounds for the remainder of the weekend.
Disorderly conduct and destroying of property will not be tolerated and is grounds for ejection.
No refunds will be given.
