Don’t let the name fool you—this isn’t a gang of violent, flightless party animals, but six self-proclaimed gentlemen wielding guitars, banjos, mandolins, a bucket of fiddles, bass, wheatstick drums, and four-part vocal harmonies that can make a grown man cry.

Hailing from Minneapolis, the band has released four studio albums, along with a collection of newly recorded singles and more slated for release in the coming months. Deeply rooted in traditional American music—including country, folk, blues, and bluegrass—the Penguins honor the classic sounds while continuing to write new original material and reimagine creative covers.
