Brothers from Excelsior MN, Mitch and Brandon Johnson are bluegrass musicians and founding members of the band Kind Country. In addition to their own original music, The Johnson Brothers reach deep and draw on a wide range of traditional bluegrass music from iconic American artists like Tony Rice and Norman Blake as well as contemporary music including Yonder Mountain String Band, The Big Wu and The Grateful Dead. Celebrating traditional Americana and Bluegrass music, they have honed their craft with nearly a decade touring the country playing their own style of high-energy improvisational music.
