From Eau Claire, WI Jerrika Mighelle (she/they) has been performing their Americana/Folk/Singer-Songwriter tunes for the upper Midwest region since 2004. She has released two studio albums, “Like the Sea” and “Brightest Star.” and will be releasing their third studio album this Spring 2023. Jerrika has shared the stage with Michael Perry and the Longbeds, Them Coulee Boys, Billy Krause, and Chastity Brown to name a few. One of the most exciting gigs of Jerrika’s career was last September when they opened for LeAnn Rimes at the Pablo Center in Eau Claire, WI where their performance brought the audience to their feed in a standing ovation.
Jerrika is a proud non-binary, queer human who released their single, My Greatness, from their upcoming album which marks the first released song where she sings about queer love. Aside from playing music Jerrika hosted the popular Converge Radio Show Tunes from the Womb for five years, where she featured tunes from women, gender diverse folks, and BIPOC artists. Jerrika has also played the role of curator for Eau Claire’s L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library’s Sawdust City Sounds, and currently they host a monthly open mic at the Pablo Center.
